Proposed Skatepark Land

Springbrook Proposed SkatePark

Our proposed land for the Skatepark in Springbrook is beside the ball diamond to the south of the Multiplex and Arena in Springbrook. There will be no loss to the recreation area that is already developed and being used. This will be a great enhancement to our current recreation area.

BMX Park Donated to Springbrook

Springbrook Wood Skatepark

Springbrook gets a temporary wood BMX park. A big thanks to Shake the Lake for donating their ramps. Although this isn't our final goal it is an amazing thing to have for the kids in our community. If there ever was a question as to if we need a skatepark in Springbrook and if it will get used, you will often see anywhere from 10-40 youth and kids riding around on bmx, scooters, skateboards, and rollerblades. Even though it hasn't been without issues and a few hangups it sure beats having the kids weaving their way in and out of cars on Tamarac :)

BMX Bike Jam Saturday, Sept. 21

Come on out to Springbrook's first BMX Bike Jam. Proceeds are going towards building Springbrook's Cement Skatepark.

Bring $10 and your helmet. All those entered will receive a hot dog, bag of chips and a drink.

SC2 Chooses Spectrum Skatepark Creations

In an unanimous decision during the June 20th SC2 board meeting, Spectrum Skatepark Creations was chosen to be the company to build Springbrook's Skatepark. We're very much looking forward to working with them and felt that they were the best fit for building our skatepark (not to mention they will build us the best skatepark)!

July Bottle Drive Success

Thanks to all who donated their time and who donated their bottles and cans. SC2 was able to raise another $1000 for the building of Springbrook's Slkatepark. We believe the next bottle drive will be an even greater success!

Springbrook Bottle Drive May 25th

Save your bottles and build your skatepark!
On May 25th we are coming around to your home to gather any bottles, cans, any recycleable beverage containers to help raise money to build Springbrook's skatepark. Please have your bottles ready or if you aren't going to be home you can leave them on the curb for us.
